Youth Background Checks 

Due to our church growth, concern for safety of our children and insurance purposes, we have made the decision to require background checks for all youth workers through “Protect My Ministry.” We want to protect our children from predators. This ministry performs these checks for over 13,000 churches & ministries—your personal information is protected & encrypted to keep you safe. The information you submit will not be stored at the church nor will we have access to it. To complete your confidential background check, go to our church website, www.philippicoc.org, under “Members”. Once completed, the church will receive word from the company whether you are approved or not. For those approved, we will email the information for you to complete an online child safety training for abuse prevention. This course takes about 2 hours to complete & includes videos & questions. It can be done in small segments to fit your schedule. The background check & training should be completed by June 30th. If you do not have access to a computer, please come to the church & we will help you.
